About the girl

I am Shlesha, a fourteen year old girl (June 27) who loves to write, read, and wants to be somebody. I was named Shlesha because, in Sanskrit, there is a star named "Ashlesha". My parents chose Shlesha because they liked it. Although now, when I look on the Internet, Shlesha is an Indian name meaning Hug, and speaking figurly.



I am from Nepal, a country in south Asia, located in between India and China. If you are interested in learning more about where I am from, then you could go Here and Here, or just Google it.



I have black hair, that reaches past my shoulders, and my longest layer reaches about mid back. My hair is cut in four layers, one is a bit longer than the bottom of my ear, the next is up to my shoulder, then the next one is a bit past my shoulder, and the last one is almost down to the middle of my back. I like my hair a lot. It's naturally straight.



Many of my hobbies include reading, writing, webdesigning, sleeping, and making friends. So if you every want to chat, then feel free to talk.



Books I really like include the Harry Potter series, the Cirque du Freak series, a Thousand Splendid Suns, Before I Die, and 13 Reasons Why.



Books I am not too fond of, or dislike include the Twilight Series, and the Night World series. I have only read the first story in the first book of Night World, so I am not sure about how the entire books play out. I did not like what I read in it. If I give the reasons I dislike Twilight, it would be an essay, it might even cause my hosts server to crash, so I would rather not. But, I have read all four of the Twilight books, and each of them did not have a big effect on me. I mean sparkling, vegetarian vampires? Retractable fangs? 108 year old virgin? Yeah right... puh-leez. If you would like to have a polite discussion or debate about it, feel free to let me know. Before I let Twilight take over my about me page, I would like to also like to make it known that I am into fiction writing. Writing fictional stories, fanfiction, and things like that.



Some movies I enjoy are A Walk to Remember, Harry Potter (especially Half Blood Prince), The Chronicles of Narnia, Titanic, Princess Protection Program (Yes, don't laugh =P), The Ring, The Haunting in Connecticut, Driving Lessons, Ballet Shoes, Ratatouille, Wall-E, and that's all I can remember. I liked Camp Rock as well. I love scary movies, so if you have any suggestions, let me know.



Movies I did not like were Twilight, High School Musical, and 17 Again.



Bands/Artists that I like are Linkin Park, My Chemical Romance, Evanescence, Hedley, The Fray, Nelly Furtado, Miley Cyrus ( I used to absolutely hate her, but I like the lyrics to her songs, and that's the reason she's on this list), Taylor Swift, Death Cab for Cutie, Cascada, Britney Spears, and Wizard Rock.



Bands/Artists that I am not too fond of include the Jonas Brothers. More to be added to this list soon.
